Are you goal driven with a need to succeed?   Versatile is looking for talented, self-motivated and high energy sales representatives to join our team!  You will support the revenue growth of our networking, consulting and services business by helping to uncover new and existing business opportunities.

We are seeking candidates with strong customer service skills, are not afraid to pick up the phone, understand how to manage mid-sized accounts and have proven success at cold calling into accounts to develop long-standing and value-enhancing relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, call & email prospects and customers to establish and grow relationships, as well as develop strategies to acquire net new business
  • Develop successful relationships with customers, vendors, and internal departments with the goal of increasing the volume and profitability of the business
  • Collaborate with outside sales executives to find incremental sales opportunities to sell deeper and wider into an account
  • Assist with researching and quoting products and services
  • Accurately place sales orders into the system from customer-issued purchase orders
  • Assist customers with return issues, order inquiries, and any other requests for information
  • Attend sales training (online and onsite) on products and services to remain abreast of developments in the industry
  • Participate in internal sales blitz challenges to help promote Versatile’s solutions offerings
  • Maintain a current understanding of our strategic business initiatives and how they relate to corporate goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Sales professional with 3-4 years of office experience, preferably in the IT or consulting services business
  • Degree in business, marketing or sales areas
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and possess excellent customer service skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft MS Office products, Salesforce, and a fast learner with various CRM systems, as required
  • Ease of being on the phone, working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Completed at least one professional selling class like Miller Heiman, Dale Carnegie or other home grown sales certification that enhances selling skills, a plus
